Proverbs Farm is located in Alvin, Texas, on just a little over two acres. Our first love is dairy goats, the Nubian breed in particular, but we also raise a few Boer-crosses. We produce both show and pet quality animals and strive to maintain a happy, healthy herd and to continue to improve our herd, both in conformation and milk production.

Our other farmstead animals include a flock of laying hens, guineas, and rabbits. We also enjoy a small but growing herb and vegetable garden and often have extra plants and harvest available for sale, both at the farm and area farmers markets.

Our fresh milk is sold locally to soapmakers and cheesemakers. We also use the milk in our own line of soap and cheese products marketed at the farm, area businesses, farmers markets, and craft shows. We are members of the American Dairy Goat Association, South Central Texas Goat Club, Texas Organic Farmers and Gardeners Association, and Lone Star 4-H Club.

We and the "caprine crew" welcome visitors, but because of our busy schedule on- and off-farm, it's usually best to contact us before dropping by.
